My Trip to...

PENNHURST

Me (Bob), and my friends Mikeand Andrew found out about this old abandoned mental hospital up near Springford.
We had heard that it was really freaky and that it was haunted. So, of course wejust had to see it for ourselves.
Our first trip was a complete failure we ended up on some State Game Lands witha couple old abandoned warehouses. But the trip was still fun and we found thishouse that is out in the middle of the woods, miles away from everything. Itsreally old and yet it looks to be in amazingly good condition. We decided not toventure into that house incase some bum was living there.
When I was away, my friends went a few times and said it was really cool, so Iwas getting excited.
The first time I actually went there it was about 11 at nite and neither me ormike was smart enough to bring a flashlite.
But we figured "what the hell" we didnt come all this way just to turnaround.
But our trip didnt last long...we got there and from what i saw it was thescariest place i had ever been.
As we were walking we noticed that a light was on in the building!
My frined mike had been there like 10 times now and there was never a lite. Wedidnt even think the place would have electricity!
So we ran like hell, cuz we knew someone had to be there. There was a reasonthat light as on. We ran all the way back to the car safely!
I took a few pictures, but most of them didnt come out well.


On my next journey i went during the day. That was a good call cuz i neededbetter pictures.
We were there for over an hour and the pics i took were great. You can see someof them in the gallery.
Pennhurst is probably the coolest abandoned mental hospital iv ever been to.
Iv tried to go back several times now but we either get scared away by lights,noises or get chased away by that security guard prick!
That guy is such an @$$hole! Damn him and the popo.
But if you are ever bored and feel like taking a risk and havin some fun, take a
trip down to Pennhurst its great!!
